Chris Morrison

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the membership, or future members at FireRock Country Club. First and foremost, I am very excited to be here and look forward to the upcoming season. I hope to get to know every one of you, and welcome any input regarding what we as the golf staff can do to make this an outstanding season.

I have been a class A member of the PGA since 2005. I spent the last four years at Arizona Country Club as the Head Golf Professional. I completed the Arizona State University Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program in 2005. While attending the PGM program I aslo held various internships at Talking Stick Golf Club, Papago Golf Course and The First Tee of Phoenix.

This is a second career for me. I was in the Army for 23 years retiring as a Command Sergeant Major in 2001. I was lucky enough to play for the Army golf team as well. I grew up in Lexington, KY, but have lived all over the world.

I joined FireRock because I saw a great opportunity to share and support my passion for golf, but also for providing a rich and rewarding experience to the membership at this beautiful club.
